About Laurel
I fell in love with reading and literature as a young child, and at 12 years old, wrote my first full-length manuscript. It has been my sole and abiding passion ever since, driving me to get an associate’s degree in English Literature, and continue my education at CSU Chico, where I am a senior studying English Literature, with a minor in creative writing and a certificate in Literary Editing and Publishing. I’ve worked as an editor on the BC Bloom Literary Magazine, in which both my poetry and nonfiction has been published, as well as on the Watershed Literary magazine. I have also worked extensively with students, having spent 5 years as a student assistant at both community college and university. Your writing is in excellent hands with me!
