About MARIA LEAHFAITH

Hello! I’m a licensed English teacher with over 6 years of experience teaching ESL, and I truly enjoy helping students from different backgrounds grow in their English skills. Over the past 5 years, I’ve worked closely with learners from non-English speaking countries such as Vietnam and China, so I understand the challenges you may face when learning English—and I’m here to guide you through them step by step.

I also have 1 year of experience teaching English Language Arts (ELA) to American students online, which helped me develop a strong approach to teaching reading, writing, and critical thinking in a clear and structured way.

I hold a degree in English along with TESOL and TEFL certifications, and I always aim to make my lessons both effective and engaging. More importantly, I care about my students’ progress. I take time to understand your needs, support you patiently, and make sure you feel comfortable and confident in every lesson.

My goal is not just to teach English, but to help you actually use it in real life—with confidence. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, I will guide you at your own pace and celebrate your progress along the way.

You can expect a teacher who is reliable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. I would love to be part of your English learning journey.

About the lesson

In my lessons, I begin by assessing your current level and identifying your specific strengths and weaknesses. I also take time to understand your personal goals—whether it’s improving speaking skills, preparing for school, or gaining confidence in real-life communication. This helps me bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

My teaching approach is student-centered and highly personalized. A typical lesson includes a short assessment or review, targeted practice based on your weak areas, and guided speaking activities to apply what you’ve learned. I provide clear explanations, structured support, and continuous feedback to ensure real progress.

What sets me apart is my ability to adapt each lesson to your needs, making learning efficient, focused, and meaningful. My lessons are suitable for kids, teenagers, and adults from beginner to advanced levels who want practical and goal-oriented English learning.
