About Rosie
I am a full-time private tutor & educational consultant keen to help children broaden their educational horizons.
I hold a BFA degree in Fine Art, and an additional year BA level in Archaeology & Anthropology - from Oxford University.
My main focus as a tutor is to inspire my student with passion and drive for the subjects to allow them to naturally develop their skills and knowledge within the area.
I work with the student to help them identify areas they find difficult - this allows me to really get to know the student and understand the way they learn. I am able to recognise that different children have their own strengths and weaknesses, different confidences and insecurities, and I always aim to get to know the student first in order to tailor my methods accordingly. Through my lessons, I always aim to build on each student's confidence in their own abilities and hope to find ways and methods for them to view the subject matter enthusiastically.
Next, I work with my student to plan what they want to achieve from each session and build a strategy to allow them to achieve their potential, in addition to setting them realistic and achievable targets.
