Hi, I’m a passionate guitar tutor with 12 years of teaching experience and an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance. I specialize in preparing students for Rockschool, Trinity, and university-level guitar programs, helping them succeed with confidence. Whether you're aiming for grades, auditions, or personal mastery, I tailor each lesson to your goals and musical interests. My approach blends solid technique with creative expression, so students not only play well but feel connected to their music. I believe every guitarist has a unique voice, and my mission is to help you discover and strengthen it. I cover everything from fretboard theory and sight-reading to improvisation and stylistic versatility. Performance is a key part of my teaching. I guide students through stage presence, tone crafting, and expressive playing, preparing them to shine in any setting. I also encourage original composition and experimentation as a way to grow musically. I work with students of all levels and backgrounds. My teaching blends foundational technique with real-world musical application, using amp simulators, chord diagram apps, and digital audio workstations (DAWs) to bring learning to life. Whether you're picking up the guitar later in life or fine-tuning your sound as a recording artist, I’ll guide you step-by-step toward your goals.
Lessons are personalized yet structured, and I align them with music curriculum standards when needed. I also offer small group sessions that encourage collaboration, build timing, and develop ensemble skills.
