About Savannah
As a tutor, I am excited to share my interdisciplinary skills and help you enjoy learning something new or polishing your skills in a particular subject.
I have two Bachelor's degrees in History and Theatre Studies, with a minor in French. During my academic career I studied European history and British literature abroad at the University of Cambridge, and published my senior thesis in an academic journal. My specializations as a historian are in women's history and European and global history but I am prepared to help you with any historical topic. I am currently a high school teacher.
I am based in NYC, and I love going to Broadway shows, concerts, museums, and eating all over the city! So excited to work with you, whether it's learning something new, improving your academic skills, or meeting a last minute deadline, I'm here for you!

My approach is to help you learn in a fun and engaging way! I like to use pop culture, multimedia, storytelling, and a sense of humor to develop stronger connections to course material. I'm adaptable and happy to incorporate any of your interests into our lessons.
