About Luca
Hi, Performer, composer, and teacher with over 10 years of experience. After growing up in Rome, Italy and developing contemporary music background on Drums and Guitar, I continued my discovery on Piano and other instruments and musical styles. I attended London College of Contemporary Music in London, focusing on Contemporary Performance and Composition. I am currently working with a wide variety of musical projects both in and outside London. When teaching, I help students identify their own interests and goals while ensuring a solid foundation in musical knowledge and instrumental skills. For more infos or bookings, please feel free to send a message. I generally teach on Wednesdays and Saturdays but an arrangement can be done for other scenarios. Lesson are done both online and in my studio (£30) or at your home (£40, price changes with location). Arrangements can be done so to fit your needs (ex. Every 3 times online we can meet once at your home).

My teaching method is based on focusing your attention on different areas of interest. These include: - Repertoire. Develop a solid knowledge of songs and pieces to play at a good level. - Improvisation. Soloing on different chord changes, ii-V-I approaches, modes, scales and rhythmic soloing - Right-hand technique. Plectrum/jazz, Wes Montgomery, classical/traditional, 3 fingers technique etc - Sight reading (both chords with melody and melodic reading) - Ear training. Recognise scales, modes, chords, rhythm patterns, transposing melodies or solos - Time management. How to practise effectively in a limited amount of time On your request, I do also teach grades up to the highest level for ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool, UWL
