About Whitney
I am a passionate Mathematics tutor with over 9 years of experience helping students achieve their academic goals. My MSc in Actuarial Science has refined my analytical and logical thinking. I have led successful problem-solving workshops that challenge students to think deeply. I also specialize in coaching for mathematics competitions.
My teaching style focuses on critical thinking and structured problem-solving. I encourage students to approach problems step by step. Creativity is also an important part of my teaching. I believe in exploring multiple solution paths. Number theory and problem analysis are areas I particularly enjoy.
I have worked extensively with gifted students. Helping them push their limits is very rewarding. I create an environment where learning is engaging and interactive. Students are encouraged to learn from their mistakes.
Mathematics is more than just solving problems. It is about understanding and discovery. There is great joy in tackling complex challenges. I aim to help students experience that joy. Together, we can build strong analytical skills and confidence.

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong and structured foundation in mathematics. I believe every concept should connect clearly to the next. My lessons follow a step-by-step progression. This helps students develop deep and lasting understanding.
I cover key areas such as algebraic foundations, calculus, geometry, and probability. Concepts like differentiation and integration are explained in a clear and simple way. Geometry proofs are taught with logic and structure. Statistics is connected to real-life applications.
I focus on developing strong problem-solving skills. Students learn how to approach problems with clarity and confidence. Each lesson builds on previous knowledge. Nothing is rushed.
I support learners who aim for precision and those who enjoy solving complex problems. They are guided to think clearly and work independently. Understanding is always the priority.
