At 17, I set out on an adventure to Mexico, a land of captivating culture and a language that called to me. Little did I know, this was the first step in my incredible language learning story.
Why Mexico, you ask? Well, it wasn't just the allure of tacos and siestas (though those are fantastic). It was the world of languages, a realm I wanted to explore deeply. Spanish became my first conquest. Each day was like a new page in an exciting book, turning with anticipation to see what would come next. With a bit of flair and a dash of fun, I soon found myself comfortably conversing in Spanish. My journey to fluency was like an adventure novel, where every word I learned felt like treasure.
But that was just the beginning. I decided to take on another language: English. The United States beckoned with its rich culture and linguistic complexities. My English learning journey was an eloquent chaos, much like the world of Jane Austen. It required dedication and an appetite for understanding the subtleties and nuances of this intricate language.
Learning languages was more than a task; it became a passion. I found myself akin to a character in a C.S. Lewis novel, stepping through a magical wardrobe into a world of endless possibilities. Portuguese Tutoring Sessions: My hourly rate for personalized Portuguese lessons is $20 per hour. I believe in making learning affordable, so you get quality education without breaking the bank.
Teaching Materials: For our lessons, I utilize a combination of tailored materials and resources. While I recommend the "Bem-vindo" book for structured learning, I also provide customized PowerPoint materials to ensure a personalized and effective learning experience. These materials are included in the session fees and designed to support your progress.
Payment Methods: I accept international bank transfers through Wise (formerly TransferWise). The transfer cost will be included in the overall cost of the classes, so you won't have to worry about any additional fees.
For added convenience, I also offer the option of making payments through a U.S. bank account if international transfers via Wise are not feasible for you.
Discounts and Packages: To reward dedicated learners, I offer discounted rates for students who opt for lesson packages. These packages can be tailored to your specific needs, whether you'd like to book a set number of lessons or create a comprehensive learning plan.
