I'm a passionate music teacher, composer and orchestrator with over 15 years teaching experience. Qualifications include a degree in contemporary music, and MA in composition and orchestration.

About Nick
As a passionate, enthusiastic, and active musician for 35 years, I have performed with numerous bands, composed music for film, games, and television, written music for orchestras, and taught music in four different countries. I believe that continuing to better my own music knowledge and skills is key to understanding how music students develop their own, and I work on my own self development, with an example being the recent completion of an MA in composition. With drum kit being my first instrument, I empathise with students who struggle with certain areas of music theory by showing patience and allowing students to approach concepts in different ways.

I will plan, coordinate, and tailor make lessons in the area that you need help with, through a range of activities to build on your current knowledge and understanding. Lessons can be up to an hour long with the lesson's objective being your choice.
I have taught primary, secondary, GCSE, A Level, and IB level music, and happy to cover any area of music requested.
