About Finn

I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BA in Physics. My main focus is on guiding students through condensed matter physics and materials science. These fields may seem challenging at first, but with the right approach, they become fascinating and deeply rewarding. I work with students to explore crystal structures, band theory, superconductivity, and semiconductors. Each concept is tied to real-world applications, from electronics to renewable energy systems. I believe that when learners see how theory connects with technology, their motivation and curiosity grow naturally. My lessons dive into the properties of solids and liquids at a fundamental level. We analyze how matter behaves, why materials respond the way they do, and what this means for the future of science and innovation. I use diagrams, simulations, and clear step-by-step explanations to make abstract concepts approachable. Students interested in advanced research or industry-related applications find my sessions both practical and intellectually engaging. Whether working on assignments, preparing for exams, or building deeper knowledge, I ensure steady progress and strong understanding. With patience and clarity, I help learners unlock the secrets of materials and their role in technological innovation. Together, we explore physics not just as a subject but as a gateway to the future.

My teaching style in Physics is warm, interactive, and rooted in storytelling. I believe that physics is not just about equations—it’s about understanding the world around us. For beginners or those intimidated by the subject, I simplify concepts with relatable stories, visual aids, and hands-on demos. I focus on everyday phenomena explanations, from why the sky is blue to how airplanes fly, making abstract concepts come alive. Fun experiments, historical discoveries, and even the philosophical implications of physics form a part of my lessons, giving students a fuller perspective. By blending history with modern science, I help learners see physics as a living subject, not just a textbook. Visual models, simple demonstrations, and conceptual discussions form the backbone of my approach. For Pilot Aspirants, I connect physics with aerodynamics and navigation. For Olympiad Competitors, I provide challenging problems that sharpen their reasoning and expand their thinking. Both groups benefit from a balance of clarity and challenge. I am committed to ensuring deep engagement and swift progress, no matter the starting point. My lessons are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and make physics exciting and accessible for everyone. With the right support, students discover not only how physics works but also why it is so fascinating.
