About Daisy

I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and hold an MSc in Nuclear Physics. My approach goes beyond traditional physics, as I integrate geophysics and earth sciences into my practice. This helps students see how Physics is deeply connected to understanding our planet and its dynamic systems. I specialize in topics like plate tectonics, seismic waves, and climate physics. Through these areas, learners gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical insights into real-world phenomena. I use data analysis and models to explain earth’s structure, atmospheric dynamics, and geological processes in a clear and engaging way. My teaching is tailored for school and university students, especially those pursuing environmental science or curious about planetary science. I create lessons that are both rigorous and inspiring, encouraging students to explore how Physics shapes our understanding of Earth and beyond. Assignments, research guidance, and exam preparation are also a key part of my support. I aim to simplify complex ideas while challenging students to think critically and make connections across disciplines. Every session is designed to promote curiosity, clarity, and confidence. By learning with me, students develop into well-rounded and confident physicists with deep insight into the science of our ever-changing Earth.

My teaching approach in Physics is highly practical and student-focused. I believe complex ideas can be understood better when connected to real-world examples and relatable analogies. I often use simulations to bring abstract concepts to life, making learning more engaging and memorable. I teach a wide range of Physics topics, including electromagnetism, circuits and current, waves and optics, and introductions to quantum physics. These areas are explained in a step-by-step way, ensuring students build a strong foundation before moving to advanced topics. Each lesson is designed to simplify theories while showing their applications in daily life and modern technology. I also support learners who aim to become engineers or dream of exploring space. By tailoring guidance to individual needs, I help them link classroom knowledge to their professional goals. Every session highlights not just solving problems, but also understanding the beauty behind physical phenomena. Assignments and exam preparation are handled with structured strategies, ensuring confidence and clarity. I focus on creating an encouraging environment where curiosity is welcomed, and no question feels too small. My approach is both rigorous and flexible, adapting to the pace and style of each student.
