My method as a tutor is interesting, student-centered, and customized to each student's unique learning preferences. I think it's important to simplify and make relatable biological subjects easier to understand by using visual aids and examples from everyday life. In order to guarantee retention, a typical class starts with a brief recap of prior content. Through discussions or mini-quizzes, I always allow opportunity for students to apply what they have learned and ask questions.
My experience as a biology major with a premed concentration makes me unique since I not only comprehend the material but also how it applies to actual academic and medical contexts.
