I had the pleasure of working with Naomi in a remote community for a year and a half. The work she did there was amazing and inspiring. It was a very intense job and required a lot of hours spent on other factors such as behaviour management, trauma awareness etc but the time spent in these extra essentials did not take away from her teaching abilities in the classroom. She was so patient with students, enthusiastic and creative in her teaching. As a staff member working with her I learnt so much, I know the students she tutors would also gain so much from having her.
