Hi, I'm Armin! I'm a master's student in Computing Science with several years of teaching, research, and hands-on project experience in mathematics, programming, and artificial intelligence. Teaching Methodology
My approach draws from cognitive load theory, spaced repetition, and the testing effect to optimize long-term learning:
I reduce cognitive overload by chunking complex topics into digestible pieces and sequencing them carefully.
I build retrieval-based learning into every session, encouraging students to recall and apply concepts regularly, which strengthens memory and understanding.
I space learning tasks over time and use variation in exercises to promote deep retention.
Each session is interactive: I use live coding, whiteboarding, or visual simulations to make abstract ideas tangible.
Whether it's Python, probability, machine learning, or reinforcement learning, I tailor the tools to fit the content—e.g., Jupyter notebooks for ML, diagrams for math, or games for RL.
A Typical Lesson Plan
* Quick review and recall-based warm-up (10 mins) to reinforce previous lessons
* Mini-lecture (15–20 mins) to break down the new concept, focusing on core ideas and intuition
* Guided problem-solving (20–30 mins), where we work through progressively harder examples
