About Emily
I love people and love learning about how people think and behave. I recently graduated from Colorado College with a degree in psychology with distinction, where I received the Blakely award in psychology for the top student in the department in 2018. I also completed an intensive year long thesis in psychology and two summer psychology internships. During my senior year, I was selected to be a learning assistant for the psychology department. As a learning assistant I tutored students and led group sessions. I now work as a research associate doing applied developmental and educational psychology research. I am passionate about education and have two years of non-psychology tutoring experience as well. I want to share my passion and knowledge of psychology!

I LOVE psychology and I bet I can get you to love it too. I always make sure I can get my students to a place where hey are genuinely curious about the topic and so much natural learning flows from there. Question-based sessions, where students lead where the sessions go, is what I find to be most effective, but I can also teach entire units.
