About Kelsey
I am a student in the ASL Interpreting program at The University of Southern Florida. I have coordinated many ASL events and have had plenty of experience working with Deaf individuals. I was the President of The National American Sign Language Honor's Society and have mentored an ASL 1 and ASL 2 class in the past. I take a personal approach that allows you to learn in a comfortable atmosphere at your own pace. Everyone learns differently and I employ a unique approach to each of my students.

- I take a very gentle and understanding approach as I formulate my lesson plans based on your prior knowledge and learning style. Everyone processes information different, especially when exploring a new language, and I can easily adapt to the style that works best for you. I have mentored beginner classes in the past and worked one-on-one with students to help them comprehend the language with a personal touch.
- I will start with basic conversational vocabulary with implementation of cultural lessons, and move on to more complicated grammatical structures as you become more familiar.
- I am looking to mentor all ages without any ASL knowledge all the way up to ASL 2.
