About Inaya
I’m a singing tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Studies. I love helping students prepare for studio recording and songwriting using modern technology like DAWs, vocal processors, and studio mics. My lessons focus on genres such as R\&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian music. I emphasise lyric interpretation, tone shaping, harmonies, and phrasing to bring songs to life. Whether you’re a hobbyist or an aspiring recording artist, I tailor each lesson to suit your goals and style. We work on developing your unique voice while mastering the technical skills needed for studio work. I believe singing is a powerful form of storytelling, and I guide my students to connect deeply with their music. Using technology, we explore creativity in the recording process, making learning both fun and practical. My teaching approach helps each singer discover their unique vocal identity while growing creatively. For adult beginners, we focus on building a strong foundation in vocal tone shaping and breath control. This helps them gain confidence and explore their natural voice safely. For advanced teens, the focus shifts to refining song interpretation and storytelling through music. They learn how to connect deeply with lyrics and express emotions authentically. Both groups benefit from exploring different genres, which expands their musical range and keeps lessons exciting. Improvisation is a key tool, encouraging creativity and helping singers find their personal style. I use lyric analysis sheets to dive into song meanings and vocal journals to track progress and set goals. Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) and melody trainers help students practise pitch and rhythm independently. This mix of techniques supports growth in both technical skill and emotional expression. My goal is to make every lesson motivating and rewarding. Whether you’re just starting out or ready to take your skills to the next level, I tailor sessions to your needs. Together, we’ll build a voice that feels true and powerful.
