About Cécile
I am a student in the last year of a Master of English Linguistics, I lived two years in the United Kingdom. During the first year, I taught French at a school in England and during the second year I was a student at the University of Edinburgh. I am also a corrector and examiner of English mock exams, in speaking and writing for Parisian high school students which allows me to be very aware of the skills expected in exams (Baccalauréat). Passionate about the English language and its culture, I am very fond of helping others to improve and sharing my knowledge.

My goal is to allow students to be comfortable with the language and to remove any apprehension. Adapting to every need, I can help with homework, exam preparation or simple conversation for all levels and ages. Specialised in English Linguistics and especially in Phonetics and Phonology, I can also help with accent reduction. My classes take place in a relaxed but active atmosphere. Having taught French as a foreign language and witnessed the results, the use of the language is essential. The sessions are therefore exclusively in English. A living language, even though it needs to be practiced for a course or an exam, is primarily used to communicate. Due to my background and experiences, I am a specialist and speak British English.
