About Aliyah
In addition to offering private lessons, I teach after school and community programs for students of all backgrounds. I am Every Child Can certified with Suzuki, and I have been teaching for 8 years. I perform for weddings and special events often, as well as in the local symphony orchestra. My goal is to inspire confidence in each student at every level.

I am classically trained and teach that style, but I’m flexible with students who want to play a popular song from time to time! Technique and intonation are my foundational fundamentals. A typical lesson with me begins with a warmup such as scales or exercises. After that, we can work out of a method book and finish with technique exercises or a piece that you want to learn. The best thing about my teaching style is that I like to set goals. I teach elementary to high school age students, and I find this is a rewarding process that helps all ages to not become overwhelmed.
