About Charu
Hello, I’m Charu! I have a strong academic background with a degree in Engineering and an MBA in Finance, along with professional experience in software development and data science. This combination allows me to bring both analytical skills and practical problem-solving into my teaching. As a patient and enthusiastic tutor, I make lessons interactive, supportive, and tailored to each child’s pace. My approach includes reviewing past concepts, introducing new ideas with clear and simple explanations, practicing through engaging activities, and finishing with a fun recap to build confidence. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students and make even complex topics feel simple and enjoyable. I focus on building strong foundations in English, Math, reading, and beginner Coding for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. As a patient and enthusiastic tutor, I believe every child learns best when lessons are engaging, interactive, and adapted to their unique pace. My approach combines clear explanations, hands-on activities, and plenty of encouragement to help students build confidence in their skills.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of what we learned previously, followed by introducing a new concept using simple examples. I then guide students through practice exercises, gradually moving from easier to more challenging problems. Each lesson ends with a recap and a quick fun activity to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my diverse background in software engineering, full-stack development, and data science, combined with my experience in teaching and mentoring students. This allows me to bring real-world problem-solving skills into lessons, making subjects like Math, English, and beginner Coding both practical and exciting.
My lessons are designed for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6 who need support in building strong foundations in English, Math, reading, and coding.
