About Yara
I'm a dedicated sixth form student in Year 13, currently studying A-Level Biology and Applied Science. My passion for science, combined with real experience helping younger students, allows me to create a calm and focused learning environment. I've supported teachers as a classroom assistant and tutored younger pupils in reading and comprehension, which sharpened my communication, patience, and adaptability. I understand the pressure GCSE students face and tailor each lesson to meet their individual needs, making sure they feel confident and supported every step of the way.

My teaching style is structured yet stress-free. I guide students through the full specification in a focused, step-by-step way — ensuring confidence in each topic before moving forward. Every lesson lasts approximately 1 hour and is tailored to suit learners aged 13–15 who are preparing for their GCSEs. I hold a GCSE 5–5 in Combined Science and Maths, and I’ve gained hands-on experience as a teacher’s assistant since the age of 14, where my patience and clear communication skills were regularly praised. I’ve also tutored younger pupils, including nursery-aged children in Year 3, helping them improve their reading and comprehension. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles. Whether you're struggling with a particular topic or want to boost your overall understanding, I'm here to help you learn at your own pace — no pressure, just progress!
