About Toni
I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 5 years of experience, and I have successfully trained around 150 students at all learning levels. I believe music learning should be encouraging, meaningful, and long-lasting.
My tutoring approach is encouraging and long-term focused. I guide students patiently through fundamentals, technique, and musical understanding. Lessons are paced carefully to ensure deep learning and confidence.
I combine exercises, songs, listening activities, and simple theory explanations. I also support students emotionally, helping them stay motivated during challenging stages.
My unique strength is my ability to encourage students and support long-term growth. My goal is to help students develop strong skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for playing the saxophone.

I follow a student-centred methodology for saxophone, emphasising flexibility, collaboration, and encouragement. I understand that each student learns differently, and I tailor lessons to their learning style, goals, and pace, making sessions productive and enjoyable.
Flexibility ensures lessons evolve with student progress and motivation, keeping learning engaging and inspiring. Collaboration is central: students actively participate in lesson planning, experiment with improvisation, and contribute ideas, fostering both skill and creativity.
I maintain a positive and supportive environment where mistakes are embraced as learning opportunities and achievements are celebrated. Lessons include saxophone technique, musical expression, improvisation, performance skills, and theory, giving students a comprehensive understanding of music.
Beyond saxophone, I teach ensemble performance, sight-reading, ear training, and music theory. My goal is to develop confident, expressive, and versatile musicians.
