About Maribel
I am a committed piano tutor with 6 years of experience teaching students from beginner to advanced levels. I have successfully taught around 150 students, helping them grow in technical ability, musical understanding, and confidence. My tutoring approach combines structure with flexibility. Lessons are designed to match each student’s goals and learning pace.
Beginners work on posture, rhythm, finger technique, and music reading. Advanced students focus on expression, coordination, and performance skills. I emphasize smart practice methods and steady improvement. Music theory, sight-reading, and ear training are integrated into lessons for complete musical development.
One of my key strengths is my supportive and motivating teaching style. I help students overcome challenges with patience and clarity. My goal is to help students develop strong piano skills and a lasting love for music.

My Piano teaching methodology is centered on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I believe learning piano should be a positive and rewarding experience. Lessons are planned based on each student’s learning style and musical goals.
I focus on building strong foundations such as hand posture, finger control, coordination, rhythm, and reading music. These skills are introduced step by step using exercises and simple pieces. As students advance, I introduce scales, chords, sight-reading, and expressive playing. Flexibility ensures lessons move at a comfortable pace.
Collaboration is encouraged through open communication and student involvement. I welcome questions and guide students in selecting music they enjoy learning. Clear practice guidance is provided to help students improve at home.
