My name is Mara, and I specialize in making modern technology and artificial intelligence simple, approachable, and truly useful for everyday life.
I know that headlines about "AI" often sound overwhelming, technical, or confusing. My teaching philosophy is the exact opposite: I focus on practical, calm, and step-by-step guidance. My goal is to show you how modern AI assistants (such as Google Gemini, ChatGPT, and other smart tools) can act as your personal, patient digital helper for everyday tasks. You do not need any technical background—if you can type a message, you can use these tools!
Everyday Ways We Use AI Together:
- Writing & Communication: Composing clear emails, drafting formal letters, editing messages, or translating texts into other languages.
- Daily Organization & Ideas: Planning trips, generating recipe ideas from ingredients you already have, creating shopping lists, and summarizing long articles.
- Learning & Curiosity: Asking questions on any topic you are curious about and getting clear, simple explanations.
- Online Safety & Privacy: Learning how to use smart digital tools securely and protecting your personal information.
My Teaching Approach:
- Plain Language First: Everything is explained in clear, everyday terms (in English or Spanish)—no coding or complicated terms required.
- Learn by Doing: We practice together live on screen. You type the questions, and I guide you step-by-step so you build natural confidence.
- Simple Reference Sheets: You receive short, visual summary notes after each lesson so you can easily practice on your own.
Two Learning Formats:
1. Flexible 1-on-1 Mentoring: Work at your own pace on specific questions, daily tasks, or projects you want help with.
2. 4-Week "AI for Daily Life" Course (2x/week — 8 sessions total): A structured, outcome-driven path taking you from setting up an account to confidently using smart assistants for writing, research, and daily organization.
