About Ranjan
I am a freshman at Case Western Reserve University majoring in Biology and minoring in Political Science and German and have tutored formally and informally since I was a freshman in high school where I got a 4.0 and took the math classes where I struggled but ultimately succeeded. I have a 100% success rate but have only had approximately 15 students total. I am confident in my ability to teach because I am all too familiar with the feeling of not being able to quite grasp a concept.

My teaching method is not to memorize but rather demonstrate how the concepts actually make sense and the conclusions reached are the ones which make the most sense. I often relate lessons to everyday things to broaden understanding. If I were to characterize myself as a tutor, I would say I like the personal connection with my students because I can understand how they learn best and present the notion that I am no better than they are just because I am able to teach concepts that they are temporarily unable to grasp.
