About Nikita
I am a UCSB Honors graduate and a seasoned LSAT tutor with professional training and experience through Odyssey Test Prep. I will be starting at UCLA School of Law in the fall, and I bring both a strong academic background and a deep understanding of the admissions process to my students.
Beyond LSAT tutoring, I have years of teaching experience in Northern California, where I taught art and STEM classes to students of all ages. This diverse teaching background has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a supportive, encouraging learning environment.

My LSAT tutoring approach starts with a full diagnostic to understand your current strengths, weaknesses, timing habits, and reasoning patterns. From there, I build a targeted lesson plan that focuses on the exact concepts holding you back—whether that’s argument structure, assumptions, causal reasoning, strengthen/weaken logic, dense RC passages, or time management.
Each session follows a clear structure:
1. Homework/practice test check-in: reviewing homework and/or a practice test to identify new pain points.
2. Focused concept lesson: breaking down one or two skills in a way that’s accessible, intuitive, and tailored to your level.
3. Guided practice: walking through real LSAT problems and modeling the reasoning process.
4.Actionable takeaways: Homework and strategies/drills you can immediately apply on your own.
Throughout your prep, we take periodic practice tests and timed sections to track progress. I chart patterns in your errors so we’re always working on the highest-impact skills, not wasting time on what you already do well. Students often tell me this structured, diagnostic-driven approach finally made the exam feel predictable and manageable.
