About Ruby
I love to travel, cook, read, and learn about new cultures. I recently got back from volunteering and backpacking across South America. I am now tutoring English to both non-native and native students, helping individuals improve their essay writing or learn the basics!
Academic achievements-
-I am a first-class graduate from a Russell Group university in Law with French Law.
- I achieved 81% on my final year dissertation.
-A-levels: English literature A, French A, History A, plus EPQ A.
-GCSES: 4 A*s, 5 As
I have experience tutoring English language and literature to young students, preparing them for SATs, Keystage 3 exams, GCSEs and A Levels.
I also have experience tutoring English as a foreign language to groups of adults in Mexico and Peru. I’m therefore familiar with helping students grasp complex grammar concepts. I can also help students improve their vocabulary and enunciation, mastering the English style of speech.
I speak French and Spanish. I therefore understand the challenges of learning new grammatical structures and vocabulary. I’m happy to communicate between English, French and Spanish to international students who are looking to improve their English.
