About Lin
With 11 years of experience in teaching and music-related work, I am a committed Piano tutor who enjoys guiding students through their musical development. I teach piano to school and college students with care and dedication.
One meaningful milestone in my career was understanding the value of personalised teaching. Adapting lessons helped many students learn comfortably and progress faster.
My lessons focus on technique, rhythm, coordination, and music reading. I also encourage students to express emotion through music and enjoy what they play.
I believe piano education helps students improve focus and self-confidence. Many students developed strong practice habits through regular piano learning.
My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and motivating. My aim is to help students enjoy piano learning and feel proud of their progress.

I approach piano teaching with a student-focused, adaptive, and creative methodology. Every student has a unique learning style, so I tailor lessons to suit visual, auditory, or hands-on learners, ensuring each concept is understood fully and applied effectively. I emphasise communication, making technical exercises, music theory, and rhythm clear and practical.
I use real-life examples and case studies to make lessons engaging and relatable, including breaking down popular songs, analysing classical works, or exploring music’s role in movies and daily life.
Alongside piano, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and beginner composition, helping students gain a complete understanding of music.
My approach encourages creative expression, disciplined practice, and performance confidence, helping students enjoy the learning process and develop a lifelong passion for music.
