About George
I graduated from University of Leeds with a first, focusing on performance. I have a Trinity Jazz Guitar Grade 8 distinction. I have played many gigs on guitar in many styles including rock, pop, funk, jazz, blues and singer-songwriter. I am very passionate about music and the guitar, and want to share this with students. I have experience teaching students of all ages, and have taught in schools. I am DBS checked.

I can teach electric or acoustic guitar. Guitar is about having fun and blowing off steam. Your lessons will be dedicated to growing your guitar skills in the style which you are most passionate about. Whether it’s learning your favourite solos and riffs, writing songs, learning to shred, or writing songs, we can tailor your lessons to your own musical ambitions. I believe that it is best to learn popular styles by ear to grow musicality, but I am more than happy to teach reading tab or sheet music too.
