About Chris
I've been playing guitar for 19 years and I have been teaching it privately for 2. I am currently pursuing a diploma through the university of west london for acoustic guitar teaching. I teach bass as well as guitar, electric and acoustic.

For younger students I try to focus on simpler concepts and to revisit lessons to help solidfy the material until they feel comfortable progressing. Familiarity with material before it's necessary for application I feel is also a good approach. I currently study using the guidance of University of West London's curriculum for practical knowledge as well as theory and my lessons are geared towards mastering the instrument and not just learning songs. I also firmly believe in the practice of printing out sheet music of every piece to have a more intimate understanding of the material unless of course it's original content.
