About Richard
I am a qualified personal trainer and university lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science with extensive experience supporting individuals through both online and face-to-face coaching. I enjoy helping clients understand why they are training in a certain way, building confidence and consistency alongside physical improvements. My coaching style is supportive, professional and grounded in sport science, helping clients train safely, effectively and with purpose.

I offer personalised personal training sessions both online and in person, designed to improve strength, fitness, movement quality and overall health. Each programme is tailored to the individual, taking into account current ability, goals, lifestyle and any injuries or limitations. Sessions typically last 60 minutes and include structured training, coaching feedback and clear progression over time.
Online personal training includes live coached sessions, technique feedback, and structured training plans to follow between sessions. In-person sessions focus on hands-on coaching, movement quality and confidence in the gym.
As a university lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science, my approach is evidence-based and focused on long-term, sustainable results rather than quick fixes. Sessions are suitable for beginners, those returning to exercise, or individuals looking for a more informed and professional coaching approach.
