I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, focusing on building understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual learning style and goals, using a mix of clear explanations, guided practice, and interactive questioning. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or aiming for excellence in NCEA, I adapt my methods to meet them where they are.
Lesson lengths are flexible and depend on the student's needs, typically ranging from 45 to 90 minutes. I’m a qualified secondary teacher with experience teaching mathematics at all levels.
