Mihir has been tutoring me for about 2 months now for math and reading. Working with him has been so helpful in improving my ACT math score from a 24 to a 31 and my ACT reading score from a 25 to a 30, in just a couple months. I started working with Mihir early last summer to prepare for the ACT after I didn’t do too well on my SAT. He helped me study rigorously for the test and taught me a number of invaluable test taking strategies, and by the end of our time studying together I did phenomenally on my ACT. We started working on colleges together right after, and my first response from a college was an acceptance from one of my top schools. To get the most out of Mihir you need to be ready to put in the work with him, but positive results will definitely show. He’s consistent, flexible and will always push you to do your best.

Mihir has helped me do things that would be extremely challenging to perfect on my own, as neither I nor many other high schoolers have the expertise. This includes helping me put together a spreadsheet of colleges that I wish to attend, adding schools that I was not familiar with (that are strong in what I plan on majoring in), and ranking them based on how likely I am to be accepted. We also put together a list of colleges to tour. Additionally, Mihir helped me write a résumé, something which I would not be able to do nearly as well without his aid. He helped me finesse all the small details so that it was exactly how I wanted it. Prior, I had no knowledge on how to write a proper, professional résumé. We then searched for professors working in fields I am interested in and he helped me formulate specified and professional emails to them in search of lab opportunities. I then used my résumé to send to these professors. Overall, I have had a very positive time working with Mihir and will be continuing to work with him for my remaining years of high school!
