About Teresa
It makes me very proud to be part of that process where someone understands something that they have had difficulty with previously. I am passionate about making that happen for whoever I work with.
I have been an effective Primary School Teacher since 1991; a proud mother of 2 amazing young adults and a surrogate parent many of their friends.
I may not have the energy to teach a class of 30 anymore, but I have plenty of energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and experience to share with our future generations.

My lessons are designed around the learning styles and interests of my pupils. I will include visual, auditory and kinaesthetic elements and real life applications. I am good at breaking down complicated ideas into more easily digestible chunks, and recognising when an approach is not working. I am flexible, patient and passionate about upskilling my pupils.
My pupils often comment on how I make learning fun, and how I find ways to apply their learning.
I am used to delivering hour long lessons, but am very flexible around this, depending on the capacity of my pupils.
I have over 20 years experience teaching in schools and working as a self employed tutor, with children aged 5 years to 17 years.
