About Musa
As a fully qualified secondary English teacher (PGCE, QTS, CELTA), I love helping students find their voice and build real academic confidence. English and Drama build the critical thinking and communication skills that shape a young person's future, but fast-paced classrooms can make complex texts and rigid mark schemes feel overwhelming. I teach to bridge that gap—turning exam anxiety into genuine self-belief.
Outside the classroom, you’ll usually find me watching theatre or following football as a die-hard Arsenal fan. Whether we are unpicking Shakespeare, breaking down a GCSE Drama script, or mastering essay technique, my goal is to create a supportive, high-energy space where students enjoy learning and achieve their absolute best.

How I Teach
As a qualified secondary teacher, I align every lesson directly with the UK National Curriculum and major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). I break down complex texts and essay structures into simple, step-by-step frameworks so students know exactly how to secure top marks.
My approach focuses on:
-Text & Play Analysis: Unlocking Shakespeare, 19th-century novels, modern poetry, and GCSE Drama set texts.
-Proven Essay Techniques: Mastering structural frameworks (PEEL/PETAL) and decoding examiner mark schemes.
-Targeted Practice & Feedback: Moving from guided model answers to independent writing with live, constructive feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
-PGCE & QTS: Fully qualified secondary teacher with direct classroom experience across KS3/KS4 English and GCSE Drama.
-CELTA Certified: Specialist in clear communication, structured learning, and EAL support.
