About AM
I am a motivated individual educated to postgraduate level, I graduated with a 2:1 in English and just recently finished a postgraduate course in Real Estate. I am particularly passionate about keeping fit and travelling the world.
Whilst studying my A Levels I was chosen by the headteacher at my 6th form to tutor GCSE maths to students at school which is where my desire to teach developed. For 2 years I worked at a tuition centre in East London where I taught mixed ability groups (of up to 6 students) both maths and english. Since then I have continued to study and privately tutor students on a one-to-one basis.

I am very familiar with the Key Stage 2 SATS syllabus, the AQA GCSE English Language and Literature syllabus as well as the Edexcel English Language and Literature syllabus.
Due to sufficient experience, my method of teaching differs with each student. I incorporate visualisation, independent learning and often include collaborative learning with each and every student.
I provide sufficient help, however I am against 'spoon-feeding' just enough information to pass examinations. I strongly believe students (particularly children and teenagers) should be taught with knowledge and understanding, not one or the other. Thus, independent learning is encouraged through research tasks and homework given at the end of each lesson.
