About Deborah

I am a pharmacy graduate currently pursuing a PhD in Biosciences. Early in my academic journey, I struggled with several subjects, particularly Mathematics. A change of tutor transformed my understanding and helped me achieve an A+ in GCSE Mathematics. This experience shaped my belief that academic struggles do not define a student’s ability and that the right teaching approach can make a significant difference.
My academic journey led me to study Pharmacy, graduating with a First-Class Honours, before receiving two international scholarships for postgraduate studies. Now, pursuing a PhD in Biosciences, I am passionate about helping students overcome learning challenges, build confidence, and achieve their full potential through personalised, engaging, and supportive teaching.
