I love when students are engaged in tutoring sessions. I like to use the whiteboard to go over material, make use of models or visuals grabbed off the internet, and frequently ask my students questions to cement their understanding of the content. I often create and share Google Drive folders with resources for students so that they have something to reference when we aren't meeting. I have years of experience tutoring in both one-on-one and group settings, proving that I know how to cater my strategies to suit every student's individual needs. I am able to tutor general biology and anatomy & physiology courses to various levels of students.

I signed up for tutoring with Kayla to get help with one of my prerequisite courses for nursing school, and I’m so glad I did! She was incredibly professional, patient, and helpful every step of the way. If a student is more than 10 minutes late to a session, I charge a $3 late fee. If a student does not show up at all, I charge a $15 no-show fee.
