My expertise ranges from inorganic chemistry to quantum physics, however with a distinct engineering perspective. During my PhD, I have been teaching in more than 20 courses across two departments from Y1 to master's level, while in parallel tutoring and mentoring two final year students. I hold a first class honours bachelor's and a distinction master's degree in Materials Engineering from University of Trieste, Italy.

My teaching experience made me realize that often I am the one that learns the most from the enthusiasm of a student. My task is nurture this enthusiasm and makethe pupil achieve their objectives, while having a little bit of fun in the meantime!

About the lesson

During my classes, I create a comfortable a collaborative environment for my student by assessing strengths and weakenesses first, and then outline a long-term strategy to tackle issues and boost confidence. I also connect maths, physics and chemistry problems to my own research to make the student understand real life implications of science.
