About Brielle
The smell of dry erase markers always reminds me of the long nights spent solving proofs that eventually led me to this field. Being a PhD candidate at the University of Chicago has sharpened my focus on limits and continuity, related rates, and definite integrals.
I have taught 364 students over 13 years, helping them navigate applications of derivatives and complex optimization problems. My methods involve breaking down integration techniques and differential equations basics into manageable, logical parts. I also focus on curve sketching and exam technique to ensure that you are prepared for whatever the test may throw at you. I promise to keep the process straightforward so that you can focus on mastering the material.

364 students have utilized my weekly problem sets with feedback to improve their comprehension of calculus concepts. Since I have 13 years of experience, I know that sitting through a lecture is rarely enough to build the muscle memory required for these problems. We will work through weekly assignments that I personally annotate, providing specific feedback so you understand your errors before they become habits. Some students find that talking through the logic of an optimization problem feels more natural than just staring at an equation.
I prefer to keep our conversations light while we navigate the mechanics of integration, as it makes the heavy lifting feel a bit easier. Do not worry about being perfect, as we are simply building a stronger foundation one problem at a time. It is much easier to succeed when you have a clear plan for your weekly practice. I expect that you will find this consistent feedback loop to be the most helpful part of our work together.
