About Daniel
I am a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering and a university instructor with several years of teaching experience. My academic work focuses on transportation systems, data analysis, and applied mathematics, and I regularly work with complex quantitative models and real-world problem solving.
I enjoy teaching because I believe difficult subjects become much easier when concepts are explained clearly and logically. Students often find that once the structure behind a problem is understood, math and physics stop feeling intimidating and start to make sense.
My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence, independence, and strong analytical thinking skills that will benefit them far beyond a single exam or course.

I am a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering and a university instructor with experience teaching transportation engineering and quantitative methods. My tutoring focuses on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorizing formulas. I break down complex math and physics problems step by step and teach problem solving strategies that build long term confidence.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether the goal is improving grades, preparing for exams, or mastering difficult topics. I work with motivated middle school, high school, and college students in subjects such as algebra, calculus, physics, and engineering fundamentals.
A typical session includes reviewing concepts, working through example problems together, and practicing similar problems until the student can confidently solve them independently. My goal is to make challenging material clear, logical, and even enjoyable.
