Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile! I am a dedicated and experienced Religious Studies tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, two Master’s degrees (in Religious Studies and Innovative Strategies in Education), and a PhD in Education. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching both in the UK and Romania, working with students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. This experience has given me a broad perspective on different learning styles and a deep appreciation for how students think, learn, and express ideas. My tutoring style is calm, patient, and adaptable. I focus on helping students understand complex ethical and philosophical ideas, develop critical thinking, and build confidence in writing clear, well-structured answers. My approach is student-centred and adaptive — every learner is different, so I tailor each lesson to individual goals, ability, and exam board requirements. I focus on building both knowledge and confidence, helping students develop strong analytical and evaluative skills essential for success in Religious Studies. I use a blend of interactive discussion, visual resources, real-world examples, and exam-style practice to make complex philosophical and ethical ideas clear and relevant. My lessons encourage critical thinking, structured writing, and reflection, enabling students to move beyond memorisation to genuine understanding. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I also offer shorter or extended sessions depending on student needs and schedule. Each session includes a review of prior topics, focused learning on new content, and exam question practice with feedback. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, two Master’s degrees — one in Religious Studies and one in Innovative Strategies in Education — and a PhD in Education. I’ve taught both in the UK and Romania, working with students of different backgrounds and learning styles. My lessons are best suited for GCSE students (ages 14–16) preparing for AQA, Edexcel, or OCR Religious Studies exams, but I also welcome younger students who want to strengthen their understanding of ethics, philosophy, and world religions.
