About Alexander

I have a PhD in computational biology and bioinformatics, and I currently work as a professional software engineer. I have tutored many computer science courses during my tenure as an undergraduate and graduate student. I take pride in the fact that students always end my sessions understanding more than when they came in. Computer science is a joyous discipline. It's fundamental concepts are extremely modular, and once you have a firm grasp on them, the limit to what you can create is almost always your creativity.

About the lesson

The number one reason programming can be difficult is because students may not fully understand the fundamentals. So, my teaching method is simple - we will go step by step through a concept until you fully understand each and every component.

The content of lessons depend on what you need, but they typically include:
1. Going over the fundamental programming concepts
2. Working through practical examples.

These lessons are for any proficiency level, whether it be an introduction to basic concepts or solving and explaining leetcode problems. Think of our lessons as one-on-one office hours.
