About Barney
I am a PhD student at St Hugh's College, Oxford, specialising in American history, but I have a strong background in British history as well. I achieved all As and A*s at GCSE and A Level. I have studied history my entire life at the best insitutions in the UK and can bring all that experience and education to you! I can also teach/help with English literature, English language, Politics and Religious Studies up to A Level.
I am also a qualified TEFL teacher having worked in China for one year, and can help you master the English language.

I can give lessons in History up to MA level, English literature, English language, Politics and Religious Studies to A Level, and am fully qualified to teach English as a foreign language as well. The most important thing for me is to get to know you as a student; what you are looking to gain from the lesson and how I can help you achieve that. My skills all complement one another; for example, my experience as a TEFL teacher will allow me to help you with your punctuation, spelling and grammar if this is an area of concern in any subject. I will tailor each lesson as much as possible to suit your interests and your requirements.
