About Francesco Paolo
I am a PhD student educated in the UK, Italy, and Japan, with many years of experience in academia and a strong passion for both history and teaching. I have taught in academic settings and understand the expectations placed on students at school and university level. I am a History PhD offering expert tuition in modern British, Japanese, Indian, and European history, as well as support in contemporary Japanese politics, culture, and the Japanese language (beginner to intermediate). My teaching is tailored to each student, focusing on building strong analytical skills, clear understanding of complex topics, and effective essay writing techniques. Whether you are preparing for exams, improving coursework, or studying out of personal interest, I provide structured, engaging sessions designed to help you achieve your goals. I also help students connect historical themes to present-day global issues, particularly in relation to Japan, giving learning a deeper and more relevant perspective. Sessions are conducted online with flexible scheduling, and I work with a wide range of learners—from school and university students to adult learners.
