About Lorelei
Hi, I'm Lorelei Tucker, a science writer and former undergraduate biology instructor with a PhD in Neuroscience. I'm dedicated to teaching students at all levels, meeting them at their experience level to help them meet their learning goals. I believe learning is a personal process - everyone's brain and learning style is different. I incorporate this into my teaching process. If repetition and learning exercises work for you, I'll make the materials and work you through them. If you're hung up on a topic and you just need someone to talk you through it, I got you. I'm well-versed in cellular and molecular biology, neuroscience, and general chemistry. I'm also a published, professional writer and can help coach you in writing assignments, manuscripts, theses, and much more.
