About Shannon
I am a passionate sociologist with a PhD in Sociology, MA in Criminology and a BA in Sociology. I aim to continue to conduct research and lecture in my chosen specialist area. I have extensive experience lecturing at undergraduate and postgraduate level and can communicate complex concepts and theories in non academic language to ensure understanding.

My aim in lessons is to help you develop key critical thinking skills by ensuring the material is understood and questioned. My classes are a space with mutual respect and collaboration to reach an understanding of the material.
Class length will vary depending on the student's needs, beginning with 1 hour with additional time as required.
My classes would suit GCSE, A level, undergraduate and postgraduate postgraduate students.
