PhD student and TA at University of Manitoba teaches math in Winnipeg

I took lessons for my analysis course from him. I'd consider myself a slow learner, and I can be a special case sometimes. He was quite patient with me, so it ended up working fine. Would study with him again.

He was my combinatorics TA. Explained things better than the course instructor. I would probably drop the course if not for him.

I got help from him for the required math courses in my CS degree. He is knowledgable about coding and even has experience in the field. I had little to no motivation to learn some topics, but he was able to explain how those topics are used in CS. That made it a lot eaaier for me to learn.

I studied with Berkant for the AP Calculus exam. His proof based approach really helped me with the free response questions there. My aim was to be just 'good enough', but he pushed me further. I struggled greatly at first, but it was worth it at the end. It was fun talking to him in general, I enjoyed our sessions.

Regularly received help from him in the Math Help Centre of UofM. He explained discrete math topics well, and his analogies made sense.

He was the TA for one of the calculus courses I was taking at uni. He was approachable and answered questions patiently. My lab experience with him was mostly positive.
