I will be tutoring students at GCSE, A-level or First/Second year undergraduates in Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry. My lessons usually begins with an assessment of the level of understanding the student has in a given subject. Following this I will also assess which type of learning style is best for each student, then design lessons specific for each student needs academically. It is best to have an aim i.e what grade would you like to get in your exams so we can work at a level designed to meet the set aim.
My philosophy to learning is this: 'The smartest person in the room is the person that asks the most questions, because it shows engagement with the learning process and a willingness to know more'.
