About Francine
I conduct research in Literary Studies, with a focus on Cultural Studies, identity, memory, history and representation. My master's and doctorate (in progress) are both based on Queer Studies and LGBT + identities from the perspective of postmodernity. I've been ministering classes and lectures on the topic, as well as on gender and sexuality, since 2011.

My teaching method is mainly aimed at establishing dialogue. I try to understand the doubts and difficulties of each student in order to develop an interaction according to their needs. I offer assistance in the development of reflections on post-modernity and Literary Studies from authors such as Roland Barthes, Stuart Hall, Michel Foucault, Judith Butler, among others, for students who wish to prepare their articles, dissertations or theses. I also teach classes on modernity, post-structuralism, contemporary literature, and literary theory in general.
